Winds

Wind is air and a wind player is someone playing a wind instrument.

Through air the oboist makes the most beautiful sound. The compression of air through wood.

A woodwind. Pure nature. La nature à l’état pur.

I am fortunate to have a lot of music in my life.

Music streaming through the atmosphere, music making the atmosphere structured, music through air.

Like air music surrounds your body. Like air you breathe music.

The stream of music you can almost see. Certainly you can feel it. ”The air was filled with music”, a way of saying that there was music everywhere.

Certainly, air is everywhere. Air and winds.

The air we breathe is a common space. It is something we share. It belongs to us all.

In times of Covid19, the meaning of common air gets another signification for us all. We know that the virus is transported by air, and we learn to let air and winds into our habitats.

We have to be aware of air, we have to take care about the atmosphere and air. We have to understand the importance of air. We have to value air.

Winds. How beautiful to hear the winds. How beautiful to hear the winds in the woods. The wood winds.

In climatology, the movement of air is relative to the surface of the earth. Winds play a significant role in determining and controlling climate and weather. Wind occurs because of horizontal and vertical differences in atmospheric pressure. Air and wind are gentle and turbulent. Around the globe there are different winds, many different winds designating their geographical position: the monsoon, for instance, is a major wind system that seasonally reverses its direction. The most prominent monsoons occur in South Asia, Africa, Australia, and the Pacific Coast of Central America. The air is the same.
