Catherine’s leadership can be characterised as empowerment, she gives responsibility and shows confidence while at the same time being the spine and sound board. She stands for the highest integrity and is a strong story-teller and communicator. She is focused, analytical and outgoing and takes pleasure in doing presentations in different languages as the ambassador for a collection, an idea, global goals or a historical story.
With a School Leaving Certificate from Øregaard Gymnasium, Copenhagen, Catherine started out her studies in Philosophy and majored from The Sorbonne University, Paris, on a thesis about Kierkegaard-reading in France.
Later on, she obtained her M.A. in History of Ideas from the University of Aarhus, Denmark, with a comparative, aesthetic study of Kierkegaard and Baudelaire. In between, Catherine obtained two exchange scholarships between Sorbonne University and New York University to study Philosophy and journalism in New York.
Twice Catherine obtained Queen Ingrid’s scholarship for The Danish Academy in Rome.
